Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the eFBR Portal available at
http://e.fbr.gov.pk ("eFBR Portal") and your relationship with
eFBR ("CBR ", "we" or "us"). Please read them carefully
as they affect your rights and liabilities. If you do not agree to these Terms and
Conditions, please do not use this Portal. If you have any questions on the Terms

Disclaimer
The eFBR Portal is aimed to provide the highest level of services and information
to its Taxpayer. The secrecy provisions in the Electronic Transactions Ordinance,
2002 an employee of the Department of Taxation from disclosing tax
information that is provided on your filed tax return. The disclosure restrictions
do not apply to the employees of the CBR that facilitate the electronic filing of
tax returns. Thus, the penalties may be imposed against only those employees who
violate the disclosure restrictions. Accordingly, this CBR is not responsible
for investigating allegations or prosecuting employees of e-intermediaries who disclose
tax information to third parties. Please read the information on the eFBR provider
Web site carefully, including information concerning its site's security and privacy
protocols, before you begin the e-filing process.
Privacy Policy
CBR online e-Services through eFBR Portal is committed to protect the privacy
of all the taxpayers registered with us as e-Registered. We want to provide a safe
and secure experience to our users. We will ensure that the information you submit
to us through this portal remains private, and is only used for the purposes set
out in this policy. Your personal details, including your name, CNIC, e-mail, Address
etc along with your business, companies/firms particulars are held and used only
by us. We will share your information within the CBR where necessary, in order to
provide you with our e-Services..
Use of the eFBR Portal
We operate the eFBR Portal to assist you in understanding FBR e-Services and
in communicating with us. The eFBR Portal is provided for your personal use subject
to these Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the e-Services, you agree to
be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory
reasons or to allow the proper operation of the eFBR Portal. We will make reasonable
efforts to notify you of any changes. The changes will apply to the use of the eFBR
Portal after we intimate/displayed the notice. If you do not wish to accept the
new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the eFBR Portal. If you
continue to use the eCBR Portal after the date on which the change comes into effect,
your use of the eFBR Portal indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms
and Conditions.
Your use of the eFBR Portal
You (as e-intermediary) are not allowed to use the eFBR Portal for making, transmitting
or storing electronic copies of materials protected by copyright without the permission
of the owner. You will be responsible for our losses and costs resulting from your
breach of this clause.
By submitting information through the eFBR Portal you agree and acknowledge that
while we may contact you in response to the information you provide, we are not
obliged to provide you with any particular product or services.
e-Enrollment
In order to access the e-services and facilities offered through this Portal you
must register on the eFBR Portal which will be called as e-Enrollment. While e-registering
you must ensure that the details provided throughe-Enrollment or at any time are
correct and complete.
You must update your profile immediately incase of any changes in order that we
can communicate with you effectively. If you register to use the eFBR Portal
you will be provided login ID, Password and PIN Code. In order to prevent fraud,
you must keep this information confidential and must not disclose it or share it
with anyone. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should
change it immediately or notify us.
If for any reason we believe or our system indicates that there is likely to be
a breach of security or misuse of the eFBR Portal, we may require you to change
your password or we may suspend your account.
Right to suspend or cancel youre-Enrollment
We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion
or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions. You can
de-activate youre-Enrollment at any time, by logging onto the eFBR Portal, through
"De-Activatee-Enrollment" link contained in the Profile link. The suspension
or cancellation of youre-Enrollment and your right to use the eFBR Portal shall
not affect either party's statutory rights or liabilities.
Availability of the eFBR Portal
We cannot guarantee that the service will be fault-free. If a fault occurs in the
service you should inform/intimate us and we will attempt to correct the fault as
soon as we reasonably can. If CBR is informed of any inaccuracies in the material
on the eFBR Portal we will attempt to correct the inaccuracies as soon as we reasonably
can. Your access to the eFBR Portal may be occasionally restricted to allow for
repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or e-services. We will
attempt to restore the service as soon as we reasonably can.
Intellectual Property
All information incorporated within the eFBR Portal is owned by CBR . You may retrieve
and display the content of the eFBR Portal on a computer screen, store such content
in electronic form or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial
use (except allowed for e-intermediaries), provided you keep intact all and any
copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy
or distribute or use for commercial purposes (except allowed for e-intermediaries)
any of the materials or content on the eFBR Portal without written permission from
the CBR.
